How to deal with schizophrenia

Schizophrenia is a brain disorder. It becomes difficult for the people suffering from schizophrenia to stay in touch with reality. Hallucinations, delusions, disorganized speech and disorganized behavior is noticed in them. Auditory hallucinations are the most common in schizophrenia. People with schizophrenia may hear voices that others don't do. The voices are abusive, unpleasant and obscene. Delusions are the false beliefs that the person firmly holds in mind and that don't change even after it is proven that the beliefs are not true. People with schizophrenia lose control of their emotions. Lack of emotional expressions, enthusiasm and interest in living life is observed in these people.
We are not going to analyse the causes of schizophrenia in this post. As it's discussed in the first post that our beliefs and feelings originate in our subconscious mind and we need to reprogram our subconscious mind in order to break the unwanted beliefs and plant the new ones, we will explore how affirmations can be used for different symptoms of schizophrenia. Remember that the medication has its own importance. Hence don't stop taking medicines while doing this exercise. As this exercise is based on reconditioning of subconscious mind through the affirmations, it's necessary to keep doing this exercise daily with patience.

I would recommend you to read the first post before going for this one. The exercise to be done here is same as described in the first post. Just some more affirmations are to be repeated in this exercise. Go for this exercise thrice a day - immediately after waking up in the morning, in the afternoon and just before going to bed in the night. Follow step1, step2 and step3 given in the first post. Repeat the affirmations given below approximately 30 times each.

"My joy of living life is increasing day by day."
"I'm strongly feeling happier, happier and happier day by day."
"With each passing day all the troublesome voices are disappearing, disappearing and completely disappearing from my mind."
"Absolute silence is strongly spreading in my mind. Complete silence, silence and silence."
"My brain is getting completely normal and healthy day by day."
"My capacity of thinking normally is increasing, increasing and increasing day by day."
"I am completely healthy and I take care of myself very well."
"Everyone in the world always gives me true and hearty blessings. Everyone is really so much friendly with me. Yes they really are."
"Everyone is really so much loyal to me. Yes they really are. They love me like no one has ever ever loved me."
"Everyone always helps me make my life better. Yes they really do."
"Just like all the other people I'm an ordinary person. My name is........ (Name of the person) My parents are........(Name of the parents) My brother is........(Name of the brother) My sister is........(Name of the sister) My spouse is........(Name of the spouse)My kid/kids is/are........(Names of the children)"

The exercise ends here.

How this technique works
The major thing observed in schizophrenia patients is the tissue loss of brain which is responsible for the worst symptoms and strange changes in behavior of the patient. If we transform this abnormal brain into a normal one, the person can gain their normal functioning back. For this we have to feed the idea of normal and healthy brain to our subconscious mind. This is why the affirmations are to be repeated that tell the subconscious mind that the affected person's brain is coming to its normal state and becoming healthy. These affirmations, when continuously repeated, develop in the subconscious mind and the subconscious mind brings the brain back to its natural state. Consequently all the symptoms of schizophrenia vanish and the person can start their normal life.
People suffering from schizophrenia may hear abusive voices. It gets worse when the person is alone. These people misinterpret their own inner self talk as coming from the outside world. These voices originate in their subconscious mind. To stop these voices, if we repeat the affirmations, they percolate in the subconscious mind, the subconscious mind gets reprogrammed and stops producing voices. In the same way the affirmations are said to create silence and peace in the mind.
Delusions are troublesome beliefs and we know that beliefs reside in the subconscious mind. A person with schizophrenia may believe that aliens/police/secret services/specific person/group of persons/anyone else is/are spying on them, trying to get them, kill them or cause harm to them. They may feel that they are a historical personality/celebrity. They may believe their spouse/friend/coworkers/anyone else is/are being disloyal to them. They may think that a normal event is specifically meant for them. They may also hold the belief that their mind is being read and their actions are being controlled by some outside powers like aliens/mysterious things etc.
These are the strong false beliefs that are firmly stuck in their subconscious mind. To break these beliefs we have to repeat exactly opposite affirmations so that they will reprogram the patient's subconscious mind and plant the idea of normal behavior in it. Thus, the continuous repetition of affirmations can recondition the subconscious mind to destroy the old beliefs and make the person feel according to the affirmations.
Schizophrenia makes people unable to take care of themselves and lose interest in living life. People with schizophrenia stay emotionless and give inappropriate response to asked questions. They may use illogical rhymes and keep saying something that has no meaning or purpose.
Feelings raise from the subconscious mind. If we say affirmations to create interest and enthusiasm in living life, the subconscious mind can come out of the old programming i.e. the phase of depression and make the person feel happy and full of joy. Also, the person can become able to take care of themselves if it's fed to their subconscious that they can do that. If the affirmations are repeated in order to improve the ability of thinking and understanding the surrounding world, the person once again can return to their normal life with normal thinking capacity like they used to have. The last affirmation can help the person bring themselves back to their original identity in case they have started considering themselves a historical personality. The overall exercise can play a big role in improving the life of the people having schizophrenia.
